THE CATALOG
BUYERS ORDER FROM.

Live now

A catalog is not a brochure. It is the document a buyer makes a decision from, and every field missing from it becomes an email — which is why a complete catalog closes orders that a beautiful incomplete one does not.

What a buyer needs to decide

Everything below has to be present before a buyer can commit. A line item missing any of it generates a question instead of an order.

  • Wholesale price and suggested retail
  • Case pack, and the minimum order quantity
  • Availability and the ship window
  • Images that show the actual product
  • Identifiers — SKU, and GTIN where the channel needs it

Variants are products, not options

A colour and a size are separate sellable units with their own price, stock and identifier. Modelling them as decorations on a parent product is how oversells happen.

One catalog, several audiences

The same products carry a wholesale price for a buyer and a retail price for a consumer. Which one is shown depends on who is looking, and it is decided server-side rather than hidden in the interface.

A linesheet is the catalog, exported

The document a rep emails and a buyer marks up is generated from the same records, so it cannot fall out of date with what is actually orderable.
