A brand can bill its own orders, outside GRAJ

2026-10
All updates

Some brands sell through GRAJ but bill through their own system. For example, the brand invoices a distributor, and the distributor bills the store. For a brand set up this way, every order says who bills the store. The store reads it on the order confirmation, the pay page and the invoice. GRAJ sends no payment link and no reminders, and takes no card, credits or early payment for that order. The order is still recorded on GRAJ at its real prices, with the seller who wrote it. Nobody has to mark it paid: GRAJ cannot see the store pay, so once the order is delivered it closes on its own. Every screen reads “billed by the brand” (and “closed” after delivery) instead of “unpaid”, and the order never counts as owed or overdue, never holds up the store’s terms on GRAJ, and is never offered for financing. It still counts as a sale written through GRAJ. Only the protocol owner can turn this on for a brand. Every change is recorded with who made it, when and why, the brand is told, and its account page shows the full history. One order cannot mix a brand that bills its own orders with a brand that is paid through GRAJ.
